On our last flight, LAX/SEA, choice of snack box offered. Later, FA came out with snack basket and offered it to the non-revs only. As I was on aisle, had my hand out to make selection but FA keep on walking. Somewhat perplexed, thought Perhaps she was working back to front. after It was offered behind me, made eye contact, she ignored me and offered it row in front of me. Took the hint and let it go. Easy to tell who the non revs were - by conversations and late seating to fill up F.
Stuff like this frustrates me to no end. Either serve your friends/fellow AS crew super discreetly or give everyone in the F cabin the same experience. Doing it right alongside paying pax (especially in F) always makes me feel like I'm getting the losing end of the stick, or that I'm behind the curtain watching F get their meals while eating a biscoff instead. It certainly doesn't make me feel valued as a customer. If you're already out in the cabin offering it, does it really hurt to offer it to all of the passengers seated there?
