Accor has a "FRIENDS & FAMILY" rate available in most (directly-operated) properties in the UK and Benelux, see here for some really mouth-watering rates with breakfast included:

I was wondering if anybody had any experience with that rate and whether the hotels are strict in verifying the eligibility of the booking member to use the rate (in some places, "verification by named employee" is mentioned, while other T&Cs speak of "presenting a voucher), or simply happy to have any business come in. Also of interest - does the rate earn any ALL points?
