Understanding rate rules of pre-paid rate - cancellation fees
I am still relatively new to Hyatt and I was looking at a property next weekend, which seems to have a good rate - however it says pre-pay at booking and non-refundable. I thought during Covid-19 all rates were cancel-able up to 24 hrs prior to departure. Sure enough in the rate rule, there is a contradiction which seems to say that cancellation is still 24hours prior to avoid 1 night fee. What exactly is the situation here and have any of you guys encountered non-refundable rates during COVID that were truly non-refundable?
