The B744 were scheduled for the Winter LH462/463 already back when November 2020 schedules were released, paired with A380 on the MUC-MIA, LH460/461 (which are now A359s).
They hadn't been officially retired, nor had it been confirmed that they would stay. So this is an indication that they might come back. Also appears that LH will have no F to MIA.
BA and KL have announced the end of their B744 operations as they have enough newer and 2-engined planes to replace the B744. Not so for LH I guess...
