Andronis properties are great, like recommended by few others here as well. I have sent clients there and they all came back with nothing but positive experiences. Santorini "luxury" is in a niche of its own. I can't think of another place with a comparable property market, maybe Santa Fe NM if there were many more non-luxury hotels, prices increased many folds, and became very popular with backpackers.
Grace Santorini is great. Toured the property - wonderful from hard product to soft product (relatively speaking). But would not pay that much to stay there. In fact, I would be reluctant pay much for most properties in Santorini after having been spoiled by Asian, London, and Parisian hotels.
Yes, this is where I came out, Grace looks like a great property but the pricing seems just completely unrealistic right now. I could see how they could get away with that in a normal summer but not right now when a lot of the other properties are slashing prices. Even then, is it really worth 25-30% more a night than the Connaught in London / Upper House in Hong Kong? I could be wrong, but I doubt it.
The only other place I could think of with a vaguely comparable market to Santorini is Mykonos, although it's different in some ways too.
