Well as an international company, we don't care. We have x staff positions for software development and y USD in budget. Paying our staff in and around SJC used to come at 5 times the cost of equally skilled software engineers in WAW about 5 years ago. Obviously, the company took the opportunity and opened an office in WAW, hiring staff. Now, 5 years later keeping those guys or backfilling for them if they leave we have to pay a significant higher wage. Actually higher than for teams in Germany or Austria. Which makes WAW becoming less and less attractive. Not just because of the higher cost, but also because its getting ridiculous hard to get good people.
