I have a res for Acela Business BOS<>NYP<> BOS in mid-August, and just received a new ticket indicating assigned seats. I was able to go into the APP and make changes, much like one has been able to do for Acela First for the past year. It appears the auto-booker is assigning only window seats, with aisles blocked, and is starting in "Car 3." Car 2 is the QC in this consist and all seats were open, as were Cars 5 and 6 with the Cafe being Car 4 and not appearing on the seat map.

I spied a set at RTE this morning, and the coaches are already labeled with car numbers, both inside and out.
