Read somewhere that star alliance awards are mostly not available right now for SQ. Ie, very little award or even zero award for ANA or united or aero plan or other for SQ.

Even alaska mileage plan also can’t redeem SQ award for the time being


edit: Ana website mention SQ award are disable due to some regulation by CAAS (civil aviation authority of Singapore wef 15/6)
not sure what is the regulation though
