I too received this well-priced promotion. At this time we (two couples) have flights and hotel rooms booked for Hawaii next summer. Five of those nights are at the Ritz Carlton in Maui - for which we're paying 150,000 points. I assume we'll get a lousy view, but how bad can the Ritz be?

This offer is also for five nights in Maui, but the $750 price is an eye-catcher that may have more value than spending 150,000 points (I currently have over 600,000). I realize the rooms at the Ritz must be more luxurious, but can anyone give me some feedback about the major differences? If we can get into the Westin, will it still feel very upscale?

And oh yes - I have Platinum at Starwood and lowly Silver at Marriott.
