They're cheap and very no frills, but I've found them to be (pretty) reliably clean and non-sketchy, especially compared to the brand with the same name here in the US. I could see them going to an Ibis budget brand, but honestly some of the better Travelodges I've been to have been more pleasant than Ibis budget.
