Forthcoming retirements (see note 3)
On 17 July 2020, British Airways announced that it is consulting on the immediate withdrawal of the entire remaining 744 fleet. It does not expect to operate any further 744 commercial services. All remaining active 744s (including those which were already considered to be unlikely to return to service from storage) are now marked as stored.

Notes:-
  1. Total hours is not a definitive guide to airframe age / remaining life / time to next check.
  2. The main list remains in hours order despite the reporting date no longer being uniformly 31 December of each year. The chronological order of delivery is almost exactly the same as the alphabetical order of registration.
  3. Please check the wikipost for any available up-to-date information about retirements.
