It's being deployed with SkyWest. They only have a flight range of AS3000-3499 and above that Delta has the SkyWest range. It is a tactic used to conserve flight numbers. SkyWest flights that go out and back from the hub are commonly getting the same flight number. If the plane does not return to the same hub or spends the night in the out station, it gets a unique flight number. And while we are in the Covid era, SkyWest and Horizon have 100% of their Alaska fleets active per Alaska's earning's call last week. I have not seen this tactic used with Horizon or Alaska flights at this point.
