I'm going to take a train other than the L in Chicago for the first time in my life travelling from Chicago to El Paso. My friends think that I'm crazy, but I've never done it before. I was able to book my fare with a nice discount using code H426 so let's hope I don't encounter any problems when I go to get the ticket! :-) Any advice for a first time rail traveller will be helpful. The 48 hour trip does seem a bit daunting, and I'm wondering if there are electrical outlets onboard for my laptop :-) Wish me luck! ^
