I had a friend doing CDG-HKG in J. His DOH-HKG flight got retimed leading to a 12:10h layover in DOH. 27h from takeoff to landing, so well over 30h total travel time. He asked for free hotel but got denied. Then, he requested refund. After back and forth, he got a free hotel.

Note: Given the number of infected pax transported by QR from high-risk countries, I would be a bit worried of the risks of a hotel room.
