But isn't this a real part of the discussion ? As a long time AS flyer (MM) I like many have longed for an alliance for our international travels especially when transferring internationally or in a position to alter plans for one reason or another. I know a number of times my CC given status has come in handy for that reason and have often written AS regarding this. Even when in the old days we use to get personal calls from AS management and asked what I would like to see it was always "alliance"
