Until we find a better way to identify carriers we do have to treat everyone as potential source - luckily the inconvenience is minimal - eg wearing a mask. It will be over hopefully soon.

On the other hand we treat everyone as potential terrorist and screen them at airports - to me that seems more inconvenient and expensive and with far less productive.
