I am stunned we have not been doing this since long ago at airports. When the LA Fitness I go to opened, it had temp checks to get in. I was in Asia end of Feb and even shopping malls were starting with them prior to the shutdown.

I would hope airports here would do so for all, not just international arrivals (better the airport than the airline IMO).

This issue in insane. We know how to stop the spread. East Asia did so just fine despite being much more dense and the epicenter. Europe is getting back to normal while here in the US cases are still rising. The US has 10 times as many deaths as China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan, Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Taiwan, Myanmar, S Korea, Laos and Cambodia combined. [OK, China probably is lying wrt Wuhan numbers and I doubt Indonesia has a good count]. It is not their advanced medical systems, it is wearing the frigging masks.
