Call any one of them and have them remove and then re-add your Mileage Plus number. This will then update your record as a 2P and open Economy Plus seating to you for all future booked segments.

They may do it for you, however note that if they do, and for
any reason the computers need to "re-sweep" the seatmaps, your other half will be booted back into Economy and her E+ seat made available for any other UA elite.
If you link her PNR to yours (assuming the situation allows it), then both of your E+ seat assignments should be safe.
