That’s the same turnaround time it would have if the flight number changed. And it’s one plane: if the inbound is delayed, the outbound will be delayed, but that’s always true. Wouldn’t be a higher cancellation probability. The only difference with a single flight number is it’s easy to see the scheduled turn in advance.
And of course, though in most of these cases — especially at a tiny outstation like MKE is for AS — it is the same plane in as out, it doesn’t have to be.
