AA too started doing it completely routinely with the US merger because they were running out of flight numbers. I didn’t know AS is doing this now too, but don’t think it affects much.
I don’t see how the flight number has any relationship to the chance the flight will be canceled and would not factor that into my ORD vs MKE choice.
there is only a 35 minute turnover period. I’m fearing this is not a flight that would occur as This is the only variation of this flight for the week going into and the following week
