Have any of you been getting targeted offers when you log in to your Citi account online? Specifically for opening a Citi Checking Account - 50K AA miles to be had for it.
I have done this promo offer twice in the last 6 years: sign up, complete activities, get miles, wait 60 days, close out account.
I would do it again for the miles, but after the wave of AA shutdowns recently, I am reluctant to do any sort of SUB offer... even if it is directed right at me and my citi account after logging in.
Thoughts?
I have done these in recent years, and I participated in the AA shutdown thread, I didn’t see any shutdowns related to bank account sign up bonuses. I would go for them as long as you follow the rules, and as long as the offer is targeted to you (there are no codes or anything, so I don’t see how an offer could be transferred).
I am curious, what is the deadline for your offer? It would be interesting if Citi is doing this marketing still in the current economy
