Please note that each hotel is monitoring and adhering to guidance issued by governmental authorities, including the CDC and WHO, and because this guidance can change very quickly, we suggest reaching out to these locations directly for more information on what amenities and services are currently in place/available. Thanks for getting back to me. The information is not on the various property sites. And, even though it is legal to have outside pools open in the states I mentioned, every one I called had their pool closed.
I think (but not sure) that it's a case of "things get out of hand". Usually pools aren't monitored, and the next thing you know, there's 40 people in there. So, the easiest thing to do is close it for the time being.
I don't blame them.
