I have now tested 2 of them. Be advised most of the rental counter agents do not have a clue on how this operates so save your emails and double check before you go to pickup a car. Fortunately all the managers seem to know what to do. And was able to return the car to hertz local branch for $0 drop off fee which was far more convenient.

Not yet ready to pull the trigger, particularly as I have a couple months left on my current lease. These don’t seem to be in short supply as I see new vehicles added every week but who knows how long Hertz will continue selling off inventory.
