Basically if you are on a Horizon flight over 350 miles, you get the express beverage service that use to be served on the PDX-SEA shuttle flights minus the free alcohol....my guess is that the free alcohol is gone for good on the Q400 flights to better align with the E175 and Alaska mainline flights.
yeah, i think the beverage selection that I mentioned previously is for the jets only and all Q400 flights are OJ and water. I think it's way too soon though to say what the future will or won't hold as far as inflight service goes. Sadly, I think big events like this generally change the landscape of inflight services for the future but at this point, to what degree remains to be seen. I think most airlines are holding tight until the fall to see how things go. Predictions are that demand for air travel will drop significantly over the summer. As Covid continues to rage across the country it also remains to be seen how that will affect how full the flights are. Honestly, I don't think things will get back to any kind of normal for a year or so - but that is purely speculation on my part.
