Curious to know what others' experiences have been, and if hotels in other regions are more/less occupied. My travel is primarily in the midwestern US, so I probably won't see much variation.
I have stayed regularly at the Courtyard at Grande Lake Orlando. In mid March, occupancy was down to 10%, in May it was 40%, and June 60%. You can tell that they had to let staff go to cut costs so the grounds and hallways are not as clean as they used to be. Although the rooms are more full, the room rate is still cheap and has not recovered.
