"If you get the answers wrong, you'll get 2 meals..."
An amusing change to the usual pre-flight safety prompt from the Captain on BA's late-morning from Milan/Linate>LHR today.
He says (and I paraphrase) "Please do pay attention to the safety briefing. The cabin crew may ask you a question about it afterwards. If you get it right, you get your meal; if you get it wrong - you get TWO meals." !!!! Then: "We do our best to make your meals appetising, but it IS still airline food, and coming from someone who lives on them, I know they are not the best... so please pay full attention to the safety briefing".
I thought it was quite funny - and I did pay more attention than usual, as I didn't want to risk being asked a question and not knowing the answer! Didn't hear a giggle from anyone else in the cabin though...
