How easy is it to covert between AA Platinum, Double Cash, MileUp?
Currently, I have four Citi cards (AA Platinum, AA Mileup, Citi Premier, Double Cash). The annual fee on my AA Platinum is due, and I know I have the ability to downgrade the card to a no annual fee card to avoid the $99 fee (likely the Double Cash or MileUp). My question is
1) Do you have the ability to freely upgrade either the AA Mileup or Citi Double Cash to the AA Platinum (or even the Citi AA Executive Card)? With AA entering into a partnership with JetBlue, in the future, AA may make more sense for me as a business travel airline, and having one or both of those cards could make sense
2) Can you have multiple Double Cash cards? I have a brand new Double Cash card, but I am thinking about downgrading my AA Platinum card to another double cash, using that Double Cash for spend and my brand new Double Cash for a 0% BT offer.
