Any experiences with rebooking Star Alliance awards?

I wonder... since booking of *A awards is suspended... what do they do for rebooking? Still possible or will be the only option to cancel/refund? And what about the 450 sek/pax fee? Will they refund that as well giving the current circumstances?
I still hold a *A ticket for to Tokyo in early September but as it looks, I probably will not be able to go. We are now thinking to move the trip out to spring/early summer 2021 or even book a different destination. Which brings me to the question: Changing dates for CPH-MUC-HND-MUC-CPH is of course not the same as e.g. moving date and itinerary to CPH-FRA-BKK-FRA-CPH. Would both be a rebooking or be handled differently by Talinn?
And I guess, if they agree to rebook and want to keep those sweet F seats I need to find O inventory?
