[Speculation] AS to Eliminate Gold Guest Upgrades (GGUs)? Hints from a New AS Survey
Received an email survey from AS today, which seemed to be geared toward Gold/75Ks...
One of the main topics dealt with potential discontinuation of GGUs -- there were several questions asking what benefit customers might prefer instead.
Some of the choices included:
1. Ability to roll over EQMs
2. Complimentary in-flight WiFi vouchers
3. Discounts on Paid First Class Tickets (another page mentioned a potential $500 bank to use toward F tickets)
4. Alaska Lounge Day Passes
5. Vouchers for Complimentary In-Flight Meals
6. Waived Ticket Change Fees for Companions
7. None of These ("I'd rather keep GGUs")
Curious what others think (and about whether anyone else received the same survey).
