I have a stack of Avios and we're thinking about using some towards a hotel booking in Malta in October. If we book now and decide nearer the time that we don't want to go because of COVID 19 can we cancel and get a full refund of any cash paid and Avios used?

I have only every booked hotels with Avios twice and both times they have been NON refundable. That was pre covid and the world is a different place , what does it say on the booking process just before you press the button?
