It’s still unbelievable to think the whole fleet will most likely never fly again, especially given they had 28 left. I am sure if this is the end BA will do some kind of send off; Qantas are for their 747.
BA probably won’t make a final nail in the coffin decision till a later date, when they know what is happening with long haul travel and the USA but I don’t think it looks good.
There will be some routes which will seem weird without a 747, routes where the 747 has basically lived (JFK/CPT/LAS). I wonder what will replace them in the short term on these heavy routes.
