Oh crap... Crap, crap, crap... My current BAEC cycle of 2020-2021 is built around saying good bye to the Queen of the Skies with a multitude (5, IIRC?) of flights in First and Club World (yes, upper deck) for some final memories.
If it's indeed true that the end is already onsetting, then that means some of my future trips become more or less pointless. Of course those flights, among others, now should secure me GGL status (unless the pandemic circumstances unravel my plans with too many cancellations), but that's something that came up recently as a new avenue to explore and could be done more itinerary efficient than my currently booked 747-400 endeavours.
Well, I can only say I'm thankful that I've at least had the opportunity to do both 1A/K in First and 64K in Club World, but fewer times than what I'd still liked to have done with her. In fact my last flight with BA prior to the pandemic calamity, was with G-CIVV (BA178 JFK-LHR), in First, in 1A, on a personal special occasion.
