Given Speedway has been running EMV at the pump now for well over a year and has not disabled PIN, I think that answers the question. They won't need to disable it. Their system is well designed.

Those other gas brands that don't support PIN outside are the ones that should be making changes so they properly support it. They are the ones whose system is not configured correctly for global EMV.
