No, the hotel’s director of operations confirmed the refreshments as she called it would be delivered to the room. Not good enough for me. And you’re right, perhaps staying at smaller hotels would be better until the chains realise they actually need us leisure guest too.
Wizla, you’re a regular at CW too, why don’t you email the manager to say this simply isn’t good enough? I’m only one person, I doubt my angry email will make a difference. Keeping the lounge closed and not offering an alternative where people can socialise until November simply isn’t on.
