Well you're right on that. I happen to know that complaints from Members is really high. If they want to get us back to the hotels like before, they need to offer the same amenities. Unfortunately this is not limited to the UK but countries where Covd-19 is almost gone and some hotels have very good occupancy.

Did you clarify if CW are offering the same amenities at the bar? That would be OK with me. I dislike the two voucher nonsense, its too tight. If a bar is staffed, then offer the same drinks and snacks there.

There is an easy solution, like you've done, just don't spend your money at these hotels. Perhaps it's time to look at some smaller properties outside the big brands that offer a boutique experience? Pay more but stay less often? In such hotels the flu will changed very little, along the lines of a la carte breakfast etc. There's some really nice small hotels around the £200 mark on DBB-basis where you can socialise and have a far nicer dinner and service than you would get in a Hilton lounge.
