Re. Dubai in the case of Marriott properties, I’d have a different answer if using points; Le Meridien Mina Seyahi is good value as a C5, or cash; Le Royal Meridien or Grov House depending on what you are looking for.

OT: I was certain in March the Westin Mina Seyahi was supposed to move down to a C6, however I see it is still pricing as a C7, two categories higher than the slightly inferior Le Meridien MS next door,
