Thinking about this new thread,
https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/brit...ng-summer.html , I note that many destinations are requiring testing on arrival, or waiving this if a negative test has been obtained <72hrs before departure, with the result confirmed with an internationally recognised statement or certificate.
I think that Lufty are putting passenger testing arrangements in place at some airports so that passengers can pass through without the need for further tests or quarantine, but there seems to be no similar arrangements here, yet, either with BA or as far as I am aware our airports.
Many of the myriad of private organisations offering PCR testing in the UK at £150 - £300 seem not able to test and get results back within the 72 hour timescale and most clinics / labs seem to be London based. 'Buyer beware' is also in the back of my mind. We would have liked to have passed through arrivals pre-cleared, but think that this might not now be possible, we might just need to take advantage of the free arrival screening at our destination (FNC) and take our chances.
What arrangements, if any are other forums members planning to make?
