I got a good laugh out of that as well. But there is some truth in it. UA has been in BK for almost two years now. UA did not have a profitable Q2 and US did. Also, US is in far more advanced stages of whacking employee salaries and doing away with pension plans. (UA just was rebuffed by their judge on their initial pension motion) If US can survive this BK, they just might do pretty well. If it does not kill them, I think it will make them stronger.


Back to the original topic, it was pointed out that LH is on UA's board of creditors so they may know something we don't. Plus, redemptions on LH by UA MP members have to be far greater in volume than US redemptions. US redemptions are probably a rounding error in comparison.

I don't think we should wish this 90 day restriction on ourselves, because it would be a death sentence to premium award tickets on LH The LH senators and other members of the *A will have those C and F inventories swept away long before UA MP members have an opening.
