Nothing has been mentioned on this forum, but I can't imagine that whatever policies are being imposed will very quickly spread to the rest of the *A.
So, if this does happen, our DM will quickly become even less useful. Forget those trips you want to plan a long way out.
Anybody heard anything similar from US agents?

Just spoke with a representative at the 1K desk who confirmed this policy AND stated that ANA is also listed as having a booking period restriction of 60 days! Luftansa is a 90 day booking period and ANA is a 60 day booking period effective tomorrow (9/28/2004). She also stated that the information she was reading was that in the VERY near future ALL Star Alliance partners would have some sort of time frame restriction placed on award travel reservations.
This is very sad.. as United has always been my airline of choice, but with the whole upgrade mess and now these restrictions on award travel I think it;s time to look elsewhere
