somewhat similar--i have a november flight BCN-JFK-LAX on AA in J (IB ticket number) that will be cancelled based on the updated AA schedules just released (the BCN-JFK flight will not resume for some time). i should note too that the fare was about 1100$ less when i booked than the same itin if i booked today, so obviously do not want a refund.

has IB been decent at re-booking? i am firmly entrenched in the BAEC machine so never have had to deal with IB until now. also this was booked via concur/work travel agency, so do i need to go through them to handle it all?

sorry for the basic questions...i have never had to deal with this sort of thing outside AA/BA before!
