Indeed, over 2500TPs worth of flights cancelled here already between July and August, that's already half of the CCR renewal.

Also, those of us who book early get extra fun: rebooking is hardly an option (as it is only allowed till the end of the original ticket validity, which is not a limitation EC261/2004 imposes but BA does), and you get back expired GUFs. In some cases, even the offer of an additional 6 month validity may not be enough. That's a lot of time wasted trying to get resolution every time.
