If MMB is showing both old and new flights I suspect it is awaiting a ticket re-issue. Lack of a new ticket would also prevent you choosing seats atm.

Once the ticket issue is done you should get a new e-ticket email, MMB on the site should look normal and only show the new flights, and you should be able to select seats. In terms of the booking as shown on the app, that will always keep showing old and new flights, for some reason that never gets cleaned up.

Unless travel is imminent, give it a few days and hopefully the ticket re-issue should be done.
