This message is not actually an online checkin error/problem, it is exactly what it says: something is holding up the flight from being open for checkin. For example, I had this once on a longhaul and at that time it was due to cargo loads not having been confirmed/calculated yet, quite why that affected opening the flight for passenger checkin I'm not sure!

Give it time and it'll open.
