I can usually swing the Avalon from SEA, but I often travel with 4-5 friends so I am usually in the Crown Vic / Grand Marquis. While I like the steering wheel controls of the CV, I much prefer the Stability Control system on the GM, as it helps immensely in controlling that bulk.

My new favorite is either the Sable (6-disc changer and auto climate - had one for my trip to Pasco the other day - high-desert and 90° - which was great) or the Impala (it rides better and has more interior room). Fortunately my Local Edition has both and usually on the road, when I see "Le Taurus" I can get an Impala (since so few seem to like GM products).
