SAN T1 was awful on the ground. Security was crowded and there was no attempt to encourage social distancing; pre "lite" required removing electronics and liquids, then wait with the crowd for someone to open the metal detector. Gate area was also a disaster, no effort by gate staff to clear the crowd jamming the boarding area. And don't even get me started about the rental car shuttle to T1.

I would avoid flying WN ex-SAN if at all possible.
