Couple of questions;

We’ve got a redemption flight booked for December using a 241 BA Amex Platinum companion voucher. (Voucher issued in September 2019) and we are going to be cancelling (Caribbean cruise from Miami and was stopping in New York on way back and with the current situation probably not going away for a while we’ve decided not to go) - what will happen to the voucher?

Also, I paid over £300 for seat reservations (Upper Deck Club World for the outbound) and I’m assuming I won’t get that back as I’m choosing to cancel (reading into the terms and conditions) - I can actually wait until nearer the time in case the flights get cancelled as they then would refund I believe? (What’s the minimum cancellation time for an avios booking?)

Thanks!
We are in a similar situation but have already decided to sit it out at present albeit we do not intend travelling. Outbound flight using Avios and an Amex 2-4-1 is on 7th September in CW. Not worried about the Avios booking as this is cancellable up to 24 hours before travel. However,we also have the first night's hotel booked with BA at LAX as well as a car booked for the 2 weeks we are there. Has anyone any experience what BA is doing about these. Hotel booking says it is non-cancellable and AVIS terms quote deduction of 25% if cancelled.
