You can cancel now for £35pp and get all the regular fees, avios and voucher back, but not the seat fees. The voucher will be extended six months to March 2022.

You can also change your booking for the same £35pp. Dates can move and you can change the route within the same avios bands, which would be complicated if it’s a -MIA/NYC- open jaw. However you’ll be restricted to ticket validity: flying within one year of the original booking. In this case though you should be able to transfer your seats.

If you can wait you might:

a) see the flights cancelled, and get a full free refund of everything

b) see the FTV voucher offer extended (currently ends August), which holds everything in voucher value for you to make a new booking up to Apr 2022, including the seat fees

c) change your mind and travel;

else you can cancel up to 24 hours before flying.
