Acceptance in the stages of grief involves solving the problem at hand with the best mitigation strategies available.
Acceptance is not ignorance of the problem.
But as people move around more, this virus will show that it is a tax on ignorance for a large portion of new cases, and some of them will have lasting effects of it either personally or among their own close contacts.
