The Sheraton Melbourne has a fabulous lounge with great food and drinks, as well as great views. I have excellent pictures taken from it at dusk. Its also right on the outdoor promenade that you walk along on the river to get to the casino.

The SOTP at SYD is MUCH better than the 4 points. The lounge is very large and food/beverages in the evening are first rate. I was very disappointed by the 4 Points and very surprised at how good the SOTP in SYD was. The two hotels are about 6-8 blocks apart, albeit up or down a hill, depending on your direction (down from STOP to the 4 Points and Darling Harbor), but its is no more than a 10-15 minute walk.
