I would try at another wmt you don’t normally go to or even know it’s unfriendly to MS. Then just say you forgot your debit card it doesn’t flag you.
I am in Dallas area so most WMs are unfriendly (I have tried many). Many times as soon as you say Money order, first comment is, we don't allow gift cards :-) But its a good idea nonetheless. I will try one of these days.
